Students undertake 75-90 days summer internship after the completion of first year. The objective of SIP is to help the students relate to the concepts learnt in the class to real life situations, make them more aware of business practices and instill a sense of discipline. It is a mandatory training for all students.
Summer Internship successfully completed by the 4th batch in the following companies. Some of the students received excellent feedback as well as PPO’s.
The uniqueness of the summer projects is that SAMVIT identifies exciting & challenging projects for the students. SAMVIT does not ask its students to find summer projects by themselves. Apart from the company guide, a dedicated faculty mentor is allotted to each student according to the business function in which the students have received their projects. Each student has to submit fortnightly progress report to the faculty mentor and a final report is to be submitted to the institute after the completion of the summer project. The reports are assessed by the panel, along with consultation from the company guide.
