PGPIB -Process



PGPIB ADMISSION PROCESS

HOW TO APPLY

Prospectus and Application Form can be downloaded as a PDF document from the website without any charge.
The applicant will then need to take a print out of the application form and fill in the required details.

Payment of 1,000 ((By online payment /by cash / DD) towards course registration fees will be required to be made at the time of submitting the application form.

(There will be no hardcopy of the prospectus available. Application form is available in hard copy at the institute’s office.)

  • 1. The applicant is required to download and fill the Application Form to initiate the Admission process for the PGPIB course.
  • 2. The applicant is required to submit the filled form along with the Registration Fee of Rs. 1000/- by Online Payment /Cash or Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank. The demand draft should be in favour of SAMVIT School of Infrastructure Business, payable at Pune.
  • 3. No documents are required to be attached along with the Admission Form. However, students are required to keep one set of documents which comprise of their educational qualification, entrance test scores & work experience (if applicable) ready. This shall be required for verification later.
  • 4. The Application Form can be submitted in person at the institute counter or dispatched through courier / speed post to - SAMVIT School of Infrastructure Business, 24/4, Opp. Patel Tiles, Shivaji Nagar, near Pride Hotel, behind Shivaji Nagar Bus Stand, Pune-411005, Maharashtra. SELECTION PROCEDURE

Students who have given any competitive exam in the year 2014, 2015 ,2016 2017 like GATE CAT CMAT etc.:

  • Submit the Score along with the Application Form
  • Appear for Personal Interview by any mode as indicated
  • Selection is based on the Score ,the Personal Interview and Academic Performance

Students who have not given any competitive exam:

  • Submit the Application Form
  • Do not worry if you have not appeared for any Aptitude Test your selection will be based on the Personal Interview.
  • A Special Questionnaire will be given or an Entrance Examination will be conducted for students who have not appeared for any of the above recognized tests
  • Students will be selected on the basis of an Objective Evaluation by the Panel

ADMISSION CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

After conduct of Personal Interviews, students selected by Interview Panel for admission to PGPIB course will be issued selection letter.

Students upon receipt of their selection letter from the institute are required to confirm their admission by completing the following procedure:

Admission confirmation & payment of first instalment of fees:

  • Students are required to pay Rs. 90,000/- Plus Service Tax as applicable within 14 days to confirm admission after receipt of selection letter. This process will be followed till 31st May 2017. For admissions after 1st June 2017 fee payment details will be mentioned in Selection Letter issued to student.
  • Selection letter will be mailed and couriered. Students are requested to check mails regularly for admission information. It is mandatory on the part of students to first pay the fees and then apply to bank for education loan if they so desire. Or alternatively before the stipulated date mentioned in selection letter obtain education loan and pay the necessary fees.
  • Second instalment of Rs.35,000 plus Service Tax as applicable should be paid in Dec – 2017 as per dates informed.

Submission of necessary documents as below:

Along with the requisite fees they must submit:

  1. Two passport size colour photographs.

  2. Entrance test score card.

  3. Copy of mark-sheet of 10th & 12th.

  4. Copy of Degree Certificate & All Semester Mark sheets of Qualifying Examination in case of Final Year students Mark Sheets up to 7th Semester and Bonafide Certificate from the College / Institution of having appeared in the Qualifying Examination whose result has not been declared till the date of admission.

  5. Experience Certificate, if applicable.

  6. Admission procedure for Industry Sponsored candidates is mentioned separately.

  7. Documents required to be submitted on course commencement -

  8. 1. Certificate for change of name, if applicable.
    2. Declaration that the student has not taken admission for more than one full time course as format provided by institute.
    3. Students whose results are awaited are required to submit their final mark sheet & provisional passing certificate on or before 30th Sept. 2017.

INDUSTRY SPONSORED CANDIDATE ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Students needs to complete the admission process as applicable to other candidates following points need to be fulfilled by students for taking admission under this category.

  • Satisfy all the eligibility criteria for admission to the respective two year full time post graduate programmes of the Institute as mentioned in the Samvit website and online prospectus.
  • Must have appeared for the admission process of the Institute or, other entrance examinations as specified in admission procedure and Personal Interview.
  • On selection, should be willing to pay fees as mentioned for the programme which is higher than regular course fees.
  • Must be willing to forego the on campus placement assistance both for summer as well as final placement.
  • Submit an undertaking, duly signed by the sponsoring individual/organisation.

EDUCATION LOAN FACILITY

Education loan facility is made available through Punjab National Bank (PNB) – a nationalised bank, Credila - a reputed NBFC, a part of HDFC Bank and The Shamrao Vithal Co-operative Bank Ltd. (SVC).

You may get in touch with the Registrar of the institute for detailed procedure of the education loan application. However students are requested to first pay the fees at the time of admission without fail.
